A 38-year-old Fort Walton Beach man was convicted Tuesday of robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a person over 65 years old, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
On May 1, 2011, Tush-ee Lewis Hunter held a knife to an 85-year-old man while the victim and his family were visiting the Indian Temple Mound Museum downtown. Hunter took the man’s wallet.
Hunter was arrested two days later.
Sentencing has been scheduled for Jan. 23. Hunter faces a mandatory life sentence.
