FORT WALTON BEACH - A 33-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman was charged with criminal mischief after she allegedly kicked in the front door at her ex-boyfriend's house.
On Dec. 2 Fort Walton Beach Police officers were called to a Central Avenue residence about a disturbance. There, they were told by a man that his ex-girlfriend, who had moved out of the house about a month ago, kicked in the front door because she wanted to move back in and he wouldn't come to the door. He also said she damaged his car.
The woman said she came to the house to collect her belongings and found them sitting outside, wet. She became upset and knocked on the front door. When her ex wouldn't answer, she kicked it open. She said she didn't damage his car.
The criminal mischief charge was a misdemeanor. Her court date was not listed on the arrest report.
