CRESTVIEW - Officers say two men tried to shoplift chicken by hiding the evidence in their stomachs.
On Dec. 27 the two, a 20-year-old from Pace and a 22-year-old from Milton, walked into Walmart and headed for the deli counter.
There, they are accused of taking a bucket of General Tso's chicken and a container of Tso's chicken tenders. The bucket retails for $9.96 and the tenders, $2.25.
The two ate the tenders and tossed the container in a trash can, then tried to leave the store with the bucket before being intercepted by a loss prevention worker.
They were both charged with retail theft. Their court date wasn't available.
