NICEVILLE - A 44-year-old Georgia man was arrested after he threatened to break his mother's neck, according to an arrest report.
On Dec. 31 an Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy went to a Windsong Court residence after hearing of an alleged battery.
There, she learned of an incident in which the man grabbed his mother and made several statements to the effect he would threaten her life.
He is accused of saying, "I'm going to break your neck!" and "I'm going to get you!"
This was witnessed by other family members.
The man was charged with assault and battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
His court date is Jan. 26.
