FORT WALTON BEACH - A man found sitting in a car parked behind a closed business with his clothes in disarray has been charged with loitering or prowling.
On Dec. 22 an Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy received a call about a suspicious vehicle behind Mother Earth Cafe on Eglin Parkway. The deputy investigated and found the car behind Crown Motors.
Inside the car the deputy found a 49-year-old Fort Walton Beach man who wasy "lying back in the cabin of the vehicle," the deputy wrote in the arrest report.
"(He) was wearing a zipper sweat shirt that was unzipped and a button long sleeve shirt that was not buttoned along with blue jeans," the deputy wrote.
When the deputy asked what he was doing, the man said he was waiting on his girl.
When he was asked why his clothes were undone, the man said that "is how I like it and I think I look better that way."
His court date is Jan. 15.
