I am entirely supportive of you protecting your home and loved ones and of hunters (although I am not one) being able to practice their sport. However, there is no need whatsoever to have an automatic assault weapon in your home. I have a shotgun in my home for my family’s protection.
When are we going to start using common sense with this issue? It probably won’t happen until our elected officials stop voting for the issues the National Rifle Association supports. Their voices shout “slippery slope!” We have already sent too many souls down their paranoid “slope.”
We need laws that ban these weapons and harsh punishment for those in possession.
