CRESTVIEW – A woman faces a drug charge after she was spotted in a car that smelled like marijuana and had a license plate assigned to a different car, a report indicates.
On May 13 Crestview Police ran a license plate check on a four-door Chevy and discovered the plate had been assigned to a Suzuki. They stopped the car.
At that point they detected a “strong odor of marijuana emitting from within the vehicle,” the officer wrote in the arrest report. He asked the 23-year-old woman if she had anything on her, and she admitted to having marijuana in her pants.
At that point she produced two plastic bags of marijuana from the front of her pants.
She was charged with possession under 20 grams and has a June 11 court date.
