Two men were arrested Thursday for possession of child pornography, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The arrests followed separate investigations and searches of the men's homes.
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crimes Unit, the Northwest Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office made the arrests.
Daniel Loy Byrd, 71, of Niceville, was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
Byrd was arrested at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Still photos of child pornography were found on his computer, the FDLE reported.
Samuel Mock, 26, of Mary Esther, was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
Mock was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Video clips of child pornography were found on his computer, the FDLE reported.
Both men were taken to the Okaloosa County Jail. Bond had not been set Thursday evening.
