Travelers are in for a visual treat at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport. A new exhibit of original art has been installed by Okaloosa Public Arts in the concourses and ticketing area.
Featuring the dancers, students, and performances of the Northwest Florida Ballet, the exhibit will be on display through the end of 2013 and includes original artwork by 32 area artists.
As the company prepared for its March performance of “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” a group of artists observed classes and rehearsals, took photographs and produced sketches to serve as references for paintings, drawings and photography to be featured in the show.
