CRESTVIEW -- A 33-year-old man was charged with theft after WalMart employees watched him eat a $3.05 bag of BBQ chicken chunks and eat them in the store, according to his Crestview Police Department arrest report.
He also pulled the price tag off the chicken and threw it in the garbage, the report said.
After being informed of his rights, the man said he thought his friend paid for the chicken chunks.
