MIRAMAR BEACH – Take a journey to Guatemala by joining local student musicians at Destiny Worship Center on May 10 for Music for Missions.
This unique community event started and produced by local student, Brandon Crowther, 16, is a student-led benefit concert, featuring local musicians, to raise funds to support an orphanage in Guatemala.
“I wanted to start Music For Missions for the purpose of helping others. I want to use the talent I’ve been blessed with and extend a blessing to others,” said Crowther, creator and producer of Music For Missions.
Crowther hopes to bless the members of his community by producing a high-quality music concert with local talented musicians and top-notch production while financially blessing others in another country.
These talented student musicians along with other local celebrity musicians will entertain concert attendees throughout the evening with their God-given talents to bless others in need.
The concert will be closed by Fleetwood Covington III, a local celebrity concert pianist who has been featured in many of the world’s most prestigious venues, and has played for numerous prominent social figures, including H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco.
The evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a silent auction and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. Desserts can be enjoyed during intermission, and the silent auction will close before the second half of the concert.
“This concert is the perfect way for our community to enjoy an evening of amazing music and production while knowing each donation will provide funds to orphans in need of hope and love,” said Crowther.
Tickets are $20 per person (max $50 per family) and can be purchased online at destinyworshipcenter.com/youth/. Sponsorships are also available.
