Three weeks after she became the all-time record holder for career wins at the University of Alabama, the honors just keep rolling in for Alexa Guarachi.

Guarachi, a graduate of South Walton High School, was named as a First Team performer on the All-Southeastern Conference team, which was released on Monday.

Now a senior, Guarachi has achieved All_SEC accolades in all four of her years in Tuscaloosa. As a freshman, she was named Second-Team All-SEC before earning three straight First Team nods from her sophomore campaign until her senior season.

Guarachi was named to the First Team alongside teammate Mary Anne Macfarlane, who is also Guarachi’s doubles partner.

“I’m proud of Alexa, Mary Anne and Toni (Foehse) for being named to the All-SEC Teams,” said Alabama head coach Jenny Mainz. “These three players have done a commendable job of leading our team on and off the court. Their positive influence and guidance have proven to be key reasons for the success of this team. They’ve done an excellent job of infusing their work ethic, team spirit and positive attitudes on the younger players.”

Guarachi holds a 22-14 overall mark in singles and a 22-10 record in doubles and is ranked nationally in both categories. This season, Gua-rachi became Alabama’s winningest player in both singles and doubles and was recently named to the SEC All-Tournament Team.

"Alexa has really elevated her game and has been the front runner on the court towards the end of the season," said. "She hit a little bit of a rough patch at the beginning of the season, but worked through it, stayed the course and believed in herself. She continues to lead us and is very deserving of this honor."
