LAUREL HILL — A 35-year-old man faces up to 30 years in prison for trafficking more than 28 grams of methamphetamine.

Charles Wesley Kemp pleaded no contest Wednesday to the charges that stemmed from a December 2012 incident in which Okaloosa County sheriff’s deputies found multiple containers of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his home.

According to the state attorney’s office, Kemp faces a minimum of seven years in prison and $100,000 in fines when he is sentenced May 29 by Okaloosa County Circuit Judge Michael Flowers.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Laresa Dudley.
