CRESTVIEW — A home on Limestone Circle sustained around $30,000 in damages during a lightning storm Sunday morning.
According to a Crestview Fire press release, 228 Limestone Court was struck by lightning around 5:50 a.m., which sparked a fire to the home.
The homeowner was at the house at the time of the fire, but no injuries were suffered, the release said.
Power to the home was turned off while officials worked the scene. Sheet rock in the living room of the home was damaged.
