Worship and picnic
NAVARRE — Risen Savior Lutheran Church will hold “Worship in the Park & Picnic” in Navarre Park at the foot of the beach bridge at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Dress comfortably for the weather. Bring a chair.

Homecoming
LAUREL HILL — The Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church will celebrate its 115th anniversary with a special Homecoming celebration, including a community arts festival today 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and an 11 a.m. Homecoming worship service Sunday.
The service will be followed by dinner on the grounds. Friends and former members are invited to return for both events at the church, 8115 Fourth St.

Gospel concert
CRESTVIEW — Libby and Friends Gospel Concert Ministry presents the Dixie Echoes of Pensacola at 6 tonight at Central Baptist Church, 951 South Ferdon Blvd.

Luminary Connection
DeFUNIAK SPRINGS — The Luminary Connection will meet at noon April 18 at the Life Enrichment Senior Center, 312 College Ave., for a time of networking and encouragement.
This month’s featured speaker is Mary Burns, local Bible study teacher and community activist. She will speak on “When ‘Too Pooped to Pop’ Becomes Reality.”

Revival planned
FORT WALTON BEACH — A revival with Dr. Jerry Porter, general superintendent Church of the Nazarene, will held April 17-21 at First Church of the Nazareen, 27 First St. S.W.
Times are 6:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 10:45 a.m. 6 p.m. Sunday.

New minister
FORT WALTON BEACH — The Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ announces Daniel Coutinho will become its youth and family minister on Sunday.
Coutinho has a Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies with an emphasis in family and youth ministry. He has served in the youth ministry in Brazil, Miami and for the past three years, in the family and youth ministry in Lovington, N.M.
The Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ is at 232 Hollywood Blvd. S.E. Sunday morning Bible study starts at 9:15 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m.

Crafton to speak
FORT WALTON BEACH — The Rev. Barbara Crafton, nationally respected Episcopal priest & author, speaks today 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast Woman’s Spring Day Away Conference hosted by St. Simon’s on the Sound Episcopal Church, 28 Miracle Strip Pkwy. S.W.
She will also preach Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service at St. Simon’s Church.

Bhakti yoga, kirtan
FORT WALTON BEACH — Kirtan with Amy Barnes will be held 6-8 tonight at Dragonfly Yoga Studies.
Cost is $15 in advance/ $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Dragonfly Yoga Studies, 184 Brooks St. S.E. or online at dragonflyyoga.com.
Join an evening of Bhakti yoga and kirtan. Bhakti yoga is the yoga of devotion. Kirtan is an ancient practice of mantra chanting in a call-and-response format.

Jail ministry banquet
NICEVILLE — The Good News Jail and Prison Ministry Annual Fund-Raising Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. April 18 at the Niceville United Methodist Church Community Life Center, 214 S. Partin Dr.
This banquet directly supports the chaplain in the Okaloosa County Jail and many programs that bring the Good News to county inmates.
Come hear music from the Wesley Boys, testimonies from former inmates and a ministry update from Chaplain John Lennon.

Rummage sale
NICEVILLE — Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd., will hold its Spring Rummage Sale 7 a.m.-noon April 19 and 20. Filipino food will be available April 20 only.
Donations accepted at the Parish Life Center building, April 15-18.

Wood ECMS speaker
SANTA ROSA BEACH — “Treasure Mapping Your Life” is the title of a talk to be given April 18 to the Emerald Coast Meditation Society. Speaker will be Glenda Wood, a real estate sales agent who also works at Gulf Coast State College as English Learning Manager.
The meeting will start with a 30-minute meditation at 6:30 p.m. at 480 N. County Highway 393, one-half mile north of U.S 98. The ECMS is ecumenical and does not follow any religion. There is no charge.

Chuck Wagon Gang
PACE — The Chuck Wagon Gang Gospel Music Show will take place at Living Truth Church & Chumuckla’s Farmers Opry, 8897 Byrom Campbell Road, on May 3.
Meal served 4:30–7 p.m. Concert 7– 9 p.m.

JAY — Pineview United Methodist Church announceS the family band Purchased will play a concert on April 20.
Tim, Karen, and Sarah Spayd are members of this family band. Barbecue dinner will be served at 5 p.m. for a donation, and the concert will start at 6.
