FORT WALTON BEACH – A man in a wheelchair was arrested for rolling around another man’s car and beating on it with a hammer.
According to a Fort Walton Beach Police Department arrest report, the 55-year-old man was spotted by the car owner and another witness rolling around the car, beating it with a hammer. The report didn’t say why the man was hammering the car.
Damage consisted of a broken radio antenna and chip marks to the paint.
The officer noted that surrounding the car were tire tracks that matched the man’s wheelchair.
He was charged with criminal mischief and will see a judge on April 9.
