Men’s conference
CRESTVIEW — A Men’s conference will be held at First Baptist Church on Feb. 22 and 23.
There is no cost. The conference begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.
Maj. Jeff Struecker of Black Hawk Down will be the speaker.
The church is offering a $15 steak dinner Friday evening at 5:30 for those who sign up for it by calling the church office at 850- 682-2544.

Shine On conference
FORT WALTON BEACH — A two-day event, “Shine On, Women’s and Teens’ Conference 2013,” will be held March 15 and 16 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island.
Speakers include Dee Chernicky, Ruth Graham, Cathy Duplantis, Faith Ellisor and Michelle Wilders. A special session for girls ages 13 to 18 is called “God’s Designer Girl.”

‘Energy Healing’
SANTA ROSA BEACH — “Types of Energy Healing: How Energy Affects the Body in Positive and Negative Ways” is the title of a talk to be given Feb. 21 to the Emerald Coast Meditation Society.
Speaker will be Kimberly Constance, a holistic health practitioner, reiki master, pranic healer and massage therapist.
The meeting will start with a 30-minute meditation at 6:30 p.m. at 480 N. Co. Highway 393, one-half mile north of U.S. Highway 98. The ECMS is ecumenical and does not follow any religion. There is no charge.
