MILTON - A Milton man was sentenced Wednesday by Santa Rosa County Circuit Judge David Rimmer to 10 years in prison after being caught with a portable methamphetamine lab in his truck last June, according to the state attorney’s office.
A Sheriff’s Office investigator conducted a traffic stop on Wayne Mitchell Powers, 47, for a suspended license, the state attorney’s office reported. Powers admitted to having a meth lab during the stop.
An ensuing investigation found that Powers and his co-workers bought numerous items to create meth.
Powers also was sentenced Wednesday to 5 and 10 years in state prison in two other meth cases. All three sentences will run concurrently.
