LETTER: Morbid marketing

While I am still trying to comprehend the loss of 20 kids and six educators in Newtown, Conn., I keep seeing news reports about people lined up to buy assault weapons and magazines.
It’s morbid that the AR-15 is suddenly such a desired weapon because people saw how great it was in shooting 30 rounds so quickly and precisely. What a disgusting way to mourn such a horrible loss.
